The Hendry Group has been providing professional building surveying consultancy services since 1979. The Hendry Group operates throughout Australia providing services in building surveying, fire safety surveys, dangerous goods, due diligence reports, building audits, building permits, authority notices, Building Code of Australia reports and essential service inspections.

The Hendry Group pioneered the private certification and private building permit systems in Victoria and New South Wales by initiating the concept with authorities and running trial certifying projects in each state.

Our group has had success on a number of landmark projects in Australia including multi storey commercial and residential buildings, industrial and retail complexes and health and education institutions. Recent projects include 222 Russell Street, Melbourne, Holden V6 Engine Plant, Epworth Hospital Redevelopment, Sydney Casino Projects and Multi-Use Arena Sydney Olympics.

Some of the Hendry Group’s commissions include being Telstra’s National Building Surveyor, Municipal Building Surveyors for the Docklands Authority, Approved Certifier for the Darling Harbour Authority and NSW public works appointed building surveyor.

Our Group places a lot of emphasis in ensuring our staff are equipped to perform the functions which our clients require. Hendry Group staff are drawn from qualified building practitioners registered with the appropriate authorities as Building Surveyors and Inspectors with each state/ territory statutory authorities.

Hendry Group Information Technology
The Information Technology department has staff with diverse skills and experiences. It has been built around a solid infrastructure base. Through this department, technical support can be provided to our staff and clients nationally. It develops integrated systems for Hendry Group’s main processes and works closely with clients to create customised solutions.

Hendry Group and Essential Property Services rely on these systems to deliver their key services. Clients can receive Essential Service Inspection Reports and Logbooks in standard or customised form; they can be delivered conventionally or electronically. This reporting turn around time has been minimised with the introduction of software on Pocket PCs that aids in the collection information. The monitoring of Specialist Maintenance Contractor Statements is also managed using a module of our integrated system.
